In the area around Turda (Hu: Torda), according to historical records, two pilgrimage sites have evolved over the course of history.

One of these places of worship was the Spring of Saint Ladislaus or Kings’s Spring, situated between Tureni (Hu: Tordatúr) and Petreștii de Jos (Hu: Magyarpeterd), which, along with the chapel built next to it, used to serve as a Saint Ladislaus day pilgrimage site for the people of Turda and Cluj-Napoca (Hu: Kolozsvár) up until the Reformation.
