Podľa miestnej legendy o svätom Ladislavovi, sa kráľ so svojím vojskom počas prenasledovania nepriateľa naraz ocitol v lese Debraď.

The remains of the destroyed church of medieval origin, of which today the plant church designed by Gábor Tamás reminds the visitor, can be found about three kilometers from the village. According to the local legend of Saint Ladislaus, while chasing the enemy, the knight king found himself with his army in the forest of Debraď . His men were left without food and starving, but wild animals, tamed by the king’s prayer appeared. The army was soon suffering from thirst, and Saint Ladislas turned to God again, who listened to his prayer and in response on the trace of the horseshoe of his horse Saint Ladislaus sprung an abundant spring from a rock that never runs out and never dries up.
